Our Robotics Division are currently developing a desktop rover kit to be launched in schools across the region. The DX-AT+ Rover is in its final stages of development and is expected to be complete towards the end of the year. The kit will require assembly by students under the supervision of an electronics/mechanics teacher. Once built, the rover communicates with a computer via a radio link interface and instructions can be sent to the rover 'without wires'.
Additional modules are also under devlopment, these include a range finder, digital compass, text-to-speech synthesiser, wireless camera and a robotic arm.
